Frequently Asked Questions |

What is the biggest impact I can get for my money?
Color is the biggest impact you can get, $20 for a can of paint will never have so much impact on your life. Drapery treatments are the second most important thing. Paint and drapery treatment can make a room look elegant and you will get more bang for your buck. An expensive piece of furniture will make anything else look bad, but the right paint can make other furniture look good. |

How does color improve my house?
Color has a huge impact on how we relate to a space, makes it warmer, colder, more formal, casual. Color can strengthen you. I had a client who we selected paint for, she worked 16hour days 6 days a week, staying at work in between clients because she didn’t want to go home, after the makeover, paint selection, she wanted to be home, she now takes two days off a week and goes home for longer periods between clients. She is now relaxed at home and wants to be there. |

Is it true that color can affect my emotion?
Absolutely, there are many examples of this. There was a bridge in England called blackfriars bridge. It was painted black and was a very popular suicide place. They painted it green and suddenly the suicide level dropped dramatically. The color pink is used in many circumstances to calm people down, hospitals, doctor’s offices, prisons, and locker room analogy. |

What is your specialty?
I can do many types of styles as I appreciate and love the beauty of all furniture. I love to bring your home alive. I listen to what you want and what it wants, they don’t call me the house whisperer for nothing. I accommodate your style, creating the room you would create if you had my expertise. If there’s something that I leave in a place, it’s just a little touch of elegance. |

What do you mean “They call me the house whisperer”?
It comes from how I work. I go into a new space and the first thing I do is walk around the house and “listen” to it. I listen to what my clients want, I “listen” to what the house wants in it. |
